London-based journalist, editor and broadcaster with over 15 years’ experience of covering arts and culture with a focus on music

As a journalist who’s interviewed some of the world’s best-known cultural figures, I have written for NME, the BBC, Time Out, SPIN, Record Collector, Wallpaper*, Vintage Rock, Classic Pop, Kerrang!, Grazia and many more. For book projects, I’m represented by SBK Literary Agency.

I was Commissioning Editor (Music) at NME between early 2020 and late 2022 – which meant commissioning and editing features, reviews, opinion pieces and digital cover stories – and was on staff at the publication for seven years.

In addition to writing for major culture titles, I take on freelance editing projects – for which I utilise vast experience in print and online – as well as record label bios.

An experienced broadcaster, I have hosted extensive video content for NME and appeared as a pundit on BBC Radio 4’s World at One, BBC Radio 5 Live and Channel 5’s The Gadget Show, among others.

I am also the author of Here’s Little Richard, an instalment in Bloomsbury Publishing’s prestigious 33 1/3 series of books about classic albums. Mine pays loving tribute to the titular icon and features interviews with some of the biggest rock and pop stars on the planet.
